Querétaro

Querétaro is a small state in central Mexico. It takes only three hours from Mexico City to the booming capital city of Querétaro. The city flourished economically during the colonial period and established itself as one of the most important places in the Viceroyalty of Nueva España. The city is known for its beautiful colonial houses, churches and squares, as well as its well-kept fountains and parks. The cityscape is dominated by an impressive aqueduct.
